ปี2549 พึ่งจะผ่านไปหมาดๆ หลายสำนัก หลายเจ้า หลายคน ก็ได้ถือโอกาสจัดอันดับเพลงฮิต อัลบั้มเด่นที่อยู่ในใจแต่ละคนไปเป็นที่เรียบร้อย เราก็เป็นหนึ่งในมนุษย์ที่หลงใหลในเสียงดนตรี ชอบเสียงเพลง และหมั่นซื้อซีดีอยู่เป็นนิจ ก็อดไม่ได้ที่่จะแอบจัดอันดับความชอบส่วนตัวด้วยคน รวมไปถึงการรวบรวมงานเพลงต่างๆที่ได้มีโอกาสซื้อ และฟังในรอบ ปีครึ่งกว่าๆที่ผ่านมา (เผอิญว่ามาอยู่ที่ซิดนี่ย์ตั้งแต่ เมษาฯ ปี2548 ตอนนี้ก็สิริรวมปีเก้าเดือนแล้ว) สิ่งหนึ่งที่เห็นได้ชัดก็ืคือปริมาณผลงานที่ซื้อหามาฟังลดน้อยลงอย่างน่าใจหาย มันก็แน่อยู่แล้ว เพราะราคาซีดีอยู่นี่ ถ้าเป็นแผ่นเพลงไทยออกใหม่ ก็อยู่ที่ 450 บาท แผ่นเพลงต่างประเทศ ออกใหม่ก็ฟาดไปที่พันกว่า รออีกสักหกเดือน แ่ผ่นดังกล่าวจะถูกไปวางในร้าน CHEAP ซึ่งทุกแผ่นขาย 300 บาท ไม่เกิน 400 เราก็ต้องรอต่อไป จนราคามันลดลงเรื่อยๆ แต่ไหนๆก็ทำงานเหนื่อยหนักมาแล้ว ซื้อเถอะครับ ถ้าคิดเป็นหน่วยเงินของที่นี่ก็ถือว่าถูกทีเดียว

กระนั้นแล้ว ด้วยใจที่ฝักใฝ่ในเสียงเพลง เราจำต้องขวนขวายหาซื้อมาฟังจนได้แหละน่า ยิ่งมาอยู่ที่นี่ ประเทศที่ดูเหมือนจะเจริญไปหมดเสียทุกอย่าง แต่ของเก่า หรือของโบราณในสายตาของชาวเรา ก็ยังมีขายนะครับ เราหมายถึง"แผ่นเสียง" นักร้องไม่ว่าเก่า หรือใหม่ของที่นี่ เค้าจะผลิตแ่ผ่นเสียงออกมาควบคู่กับซีดีเสมอ (เทปต่างหากที่หายาก) ผม- ในฐานะคนที่ยึดติดในสิ่งเก่าๆอยู่เป็นทุน- จึงไม่ได้ลังเลที่จะหาเครื่องเล่นแผ่นเสียงราคาถูกของที่นี่มาใว้ในครอบครอง พร้อมกันนี้ แผ่นเสียงที่นี่ ถ้าของเก่าโคตร ก็สนนราคาอยู่ที่แ่ผ่นละ 15 บาท! ครับ 15 บาท อยู่ที่นี่ 15 บาท หรือ 50 เ็ซ็นต์ของที่นี่ทำอะไรได้บ้าง ต่อโทรศัพท์ครับ คุยกันได้ สี่วิฯ ไม่ต่างอะไรกับเหรียญบาทบ้านเรา แต่ผมซื้อแ่ผ่นเสียงได้ (แผ่นหลุยส์ อาร์มสตรอง สภาพ 70%) คุ้มเลยครับ ด้วยราคาัดังว่านี้เอง ทำให้ในช่วงหลัง ปริมาณการซื้อแผ่นเสียงจึงตีคู่มากับปริมาณการซื้อแผ่นซีดี อีมมมม.. มาดูกันดีกว่าว่าผมซื้ออะไรไปบ้าง
